About us

Storehouse (Glasgow) is a practical service set up by Glasgow Vineyard to meet the immediate and long term needs of those who are destitute in the North and West of Glasgow, with a specific focus on Drumchapel, Maryhill, Anniesland and the surrounding areas. The aim is to give the assurance of food to those in greatest need.

Cubs and Beavers Collect for Storehouse

The Beavers and Cubs of 24th Glasgow (Bearsden) Scout Group have collected an amazing amount of food for Storehouse over the past few weeks.

The food donated will really help us provide essential food parcels to families and individuals who cannot afford to put basic food on the table.

A really big thank you to all the cubs and beavers who gave so generously.

Storehouse reopened after major refurbishment

Volunteers and clients in our refurbished facility

After two weeks shut for refurbishment, and major make-over Storehouse re-opened last Saturday.

Gone is the fading and peeling paintwork and jumble of unsafe boxes stacked precariously on an unused stage area. In comes fresh new paint, clean carpet and a brand new stock room - shelved and stocked with food.

Local Supermarket provides much needed support

Morrisons staff outside Storehouse - after delivering 5 trolley loads of food

Over the last couple years we have been developing a strong relationship with our local Morrisons supermarket at Anniesland, collecting food from customers at the door. Over the past few months there have been two very significant developments which have greatly help us sustain our work.

Firstly, the store installed a collection trolley for customers to drop off food for Storehouse - we get at least one trolley load of food every week - which is amazing.
